Anybody else on here getting their GCSE exam results tomorrow? (21st August)

I am and I'm really nervous in case i do worse than expected. And, to make matters worse, my Science teacher at the end of the year grabbed my expected grade and scribbled it out, shouting that i wasn't going to get that grade in a million years :s_omg

So, anyone else have to collect theirs?

I reckon she is right lol :s_cool I just hope i can do well in my stronger subjects like Maths and Media where i am expected A*.

I'm a little uncertain about History as we were taught about Egyptians, Romans and Greeks as our ancient civilizations, so then i was all prepared for the 30 mark question. We get in there and it's a questino on Ancient Muslim :s_mad No-one in the school had or ever has in the schools history been taught about ancient muslims, so i had to be practical and make some things up.

I read on the news though that a girl didn't do her exam, she just wrote the lyrics to the Fresh Prince Of Bel Air and she got 7% lol. So it makes me more confident if she can get that mark for a tv shows theme tune :s_thumbsup

:s_rofl :s_rofl :s_rofl omg the lyrics to a TV theme tune :s_rofl :s_rofl :s_rofl

I thought I wouldn't do very well in my GCSE's but still I did better than expected

I did an exam at college about Chinese and Indian Cuisine a few months ago...some questions we never even covered in lessons :s_mad I don't think I passed it :s_sad good job it wasn't that important

with my GCSE's i was all expected to get C's i failed big time in my mocks (higher paper) so I got put into the foundation papers and got a better chance of getting my C grades, which I did in the end :s_yahoo

I'm doing my A Levels. I get my first exams in just over 4 months!

Im doing;

~ Business Studies
~ Media Studies
~ Games Development
~ Computing

And none of it will be useful for a career in the Police Force :s_biggrin

Maybe not directly but it shows the ability to learn. It also gives you options should you decide that the police force wasn't such a good idea after all, and gives you greater opportunity to go to university.

Best of luck. :s_thumbsup
