set it where once you register, you become apart of another group automatically? Should I delete the Registered User's group or something?

Basically, I have my forums set up where guests can see every forum but 3... basically the Not Safe For Work forums.

I have 1 person who I have a Cease and Desist against (and working on a Restraining order against) who is registering up. When I suspect it's him, I move the account to a group that can only see 1 forum. Then a new person registers, suspiciously right after his last log on of the previous name.

What I want to do.. is have all new registrants only see 1 forum....

I guess I should just change the Group Permissions of the Registered User's group, and make a new group with all permissions for my current registered users, and just have it where I have to manually move them.

But I would like a different solution.

Wouldn't it be SO much easier just to ban him? and then IP ban him? Etc?
I really think that is easier.

Here is how you make a group automatically see only one forum:
-Manage Groups
-Settings of that group
-Minimum days of membership to 1. This will automatically add everyone to this group.

Is this the kind of thing you want?

Nevermind, I did it the hard way. So I gotta manually add those who register and can prove they arent the one guy to another group... its worth it to me.

I did IP ban the guy. But he is trying to get around it (and it's easy to so if your IP isnt constant).

and thats a good idea, thanks.
