I don't believe this is possible at the moment. Feel free to request this feature here :- forum12.html

you could always get a favicon code and place it in the footer code to overwrite the current default one

Oh yeah, good idea Ashley. I completely forgot about the footer! I don't know what sort of code you would need though Nexus and PanHandle are the coding specialists. I think it's something like ; Code: <link rel="shortcut icon" href="linktoyouricon.ico">

well If I remember rightly sir ~FN~ (you remember him MJGB) has the Favicon code but there is one website that you can use which will host & generate it for you and if you have not got the footer code in the template you use, just simply convert it into custom BB code and hide it in every page so it displays across the forums here is the best website to use for favicons: http://www.iconj.com/icon_generator.php

Any chance of posting the code you used so the other users can use it?

btw your code is correct what I did was I went to http://iconj.com/ since they actually host the images, and I stole their code for one of their favicons then I went to http://www.favicon.cc/ signed up, and made an animated favicon you can dl the image and use it with http://iconj.com/, but they wont dl as animated.... so i went to the page it was on, viewed the source of the page, searched for .ico files... found the one I made, and threw it into the code I stole from the first place and here it is Code: <!-- iconj.com animated favicon code --> <link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.favicon.cc/favicon/185/39/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" /> <link rel="icon" href="http://www.favicon.cc/favicon/185/39/favicon.ico" type="image/gif" /> <!-- end of iconj.com animated favicon code --> As you can see, it's a iconj.com code used with the source from favicon.cc
