How do I turn of the being able to view the forum as hidden? Is there an option for this?

Depends what you mean as your question can be taken in two ways. Is it the forum that's hidden that you want to view or your online status that's hidden and you want to be seen.

In the latter case, to allow your online status to be seen (or not) go to the User Control Panel, Board Preferences tab and change the entry "Hide my online status". As an admin any user who has their online status hidden will show up in italics instead of normal text, to anyone else their user name will not be visible at all.

In the former case, whether a user or guest can view a particular forum depends on the permissions set for that forum, either for an individual or a user group. Bear in mind that at least 70% of your board should be publicly visible. The removal of guests from a forum's permissions should be used with caution and restricted to, say, a "Moderator's Only" forum.

I want it where noone can choose to be online as hidden. Or at the very least, where everyone who chooses to be online as hidden is seen by everyone else.

You'd have to disable that feature for a usergroup. Currently, only my VIP members can hide.

So, if you don't want ANYONE to be able to use this feature, follow this:

-Administration Control Panel
-Users and Groups Tab
-Groups' Permissions (on the left)
-Look up Usergroup: Registered Users. Press Submit.
-Advanced Permissions.
-Misc tab.
-Switch the first option "Can Hide Online Status" to "Never"
-Apply Permissions
