I had no intention of making this a "big deal." Ashley felt like attacking me because I didn't "fully" understand the terms of conditions. Actually, I was asking a question; I wasn't complaining. Ashley, there aren't any stated rules here (that I can see...) other than the Terms and Conditions, and I quoted exactly what they said. They are EXTREMELY vague and I wanted to understand how the staff members moderate our language.

Heh, since they just gave a tip (changing the word instead of moderating the post and given a warning) not only is the free hosting top notch, but the mods here are full of their own self importance. Way to go Prophpbb! :s_thumbsup :s_thumbsup :s_thumbsup :s_thumbsup

In general (in the support forum) we prefer no moderation, at all. Ideally everyone would talk about anything they wanted to, however we do have an obligation to ensure a positive attitude on the forum and a family and work friendly atmosphere - since we have to cator to everyone. While I may not have bleeped out one curse word, another moderator might. We're not machines.

As for the general terms and conditions that apply to all hosted forums, the terminology is "excessive cursing", and of course that can be interpreted different ways. A member saying an occassional cuss word on your forum isn't excessive cursing, but having a general atmosphere where vulgarity and loads of extremely nasty words excessivly repeated by most members is excessive.
