I feel like I haven't been posting here as much as I used to, so I'm going to start a few games.  The first being related to Phpbb.
What can the person above you do to improve their forum?I'm going to start with the ProphpBB Support Forum. I find this forum a fantastic resource, and a great community, and I love the contests. My simple suggest is for the admin, when he finds the wonderful time, to create more contests for us to get involved in!

I'll get this rolling. Alex, your forum is pretty much perfect. It has a lot of forums, but not a stupid amount like hundereds. You have a fair few topics, many of which provoke conversation such as the US Presidential Elections and Oil prices so people will want to voice their opinions. ALso, you seem to have a core group of members who post on a regular basis. The only thing i would say is that because you use that theme, you cannot have your own logo but other than that, great work. My forum isn't publically viewable as it's under construction so the next person can review Nexus' forum if he wants that. If he doesn't, then someone else can offer their forum for a quick 'review'. http://forumadvertz.com is Nexus' site.

I think nexus's forum is a brilliant informative forum with the bonus of promotional services...I do however feel that the template needs a little work and is a bit too bland and boring

Ashley, my comments:
Pros: You seem to have a good thing starting. Few good members, active topics, etc. The welcome Guest message is a great idea!
Cons: I don't like the advertisements or the shoutbox. It makes it look very tacky, to be honest.
