As you may know from my previous thread, I'm having a bit of trouble since FreeForums won't let me upgrade to v3, therefore I cant transfer here without spending a ton of money.
Therefore, my 1st option is to wait another few weeks (most likely) for my current host to release the PHPBB3 upgrader, then pay the $30 db backup and the $6 transfer fee they charge to move my forum here.
OR
I can delete my forum there, and sign up with the same domain here without having to pay a penny more then the cost of buying a domain here. Problem is, I have 48 members and over 1300 posts, all of which would be deleted should I take this course of action.
So, I ask, is there any way possible to do this without paying for a db backup?

I am guessing you would have to pay for a backup to keep everything and move here...however...you could announce that you are having to move forum hosts and stick a redirect code in one of the forum descriptions tom locate to your new forum here

 Hardly in the same league as a few quid/dollars for a database backup though!!!
